New on Netflix: 'Orange is the New Black' returns

A diverse week of Netflix Streaming releases begins today with season 2 of the acclaimed woman’s prison drama-comedy “Orange is the New Black,” Netflix’s surprise hit. While the launch of “House of Cards” and the fourth season of “Arrested Development” were heavily promoted, “OITNB” has become a popular and critical success. It’s just the beginning of a week featuring something for everybody.

Also arriving today is the acclaimed BBC procedural “Luther,” starring the charismatic Idris Elba as the titular detective. Coming tomorrow is last year’s heist comedy “The Art of the Steal,” featuring a terrific ensemble led by Kurt Russell as the gloriously-named Crunch Calhoun.

Next week brings one of last year’s most successful summer films, Brad Pitt’s globe-hopping zombie epic “World War Z,” as wel as the Netflix-launched documentary “This is Not a Ball,” about an art project being built for the upcoming World Cup.
