The Seattle police have released a note found in Kurt Cobain's wallet 20 years ago. The note, published by CBS, mocks Cobain's marriage vows and suggests growing problems with his marriage to Courtney Love.

It reads “Do you Kurt Cobain take Courtney Michelle Love to be your lawful shredded wife. Even when she's a b**** with zits and siphoning all yr money for doping and whoring.”

Since his death there have been several rumors and suggestions that the pair were on the brink of divorce. This note makes those claims stronger.

The 20th anniversary of Cobain's death led the Seattle police to review his death. While finding nothing new the police released four rolls of undeveloped film from the scene of his death.
