The European branch of Bandai Namco Games has posted more details regarding Kushina Uzumaki in the upcoming "Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution." According to a post from Twitter on May 12, the publisher confirmed that the character is coming to the English version of the fighting game as well. A magazine previously revealed that Kushina Uzumaki would be added to the roster in the Japanese version.
Along with being the mother of Naruto Uzumaki, the new character is also the wife of Minato Namikaze, the fourth Hokage. She is known for her "hot temper," which will be on full display during battle. Furthermore, Bandai Namco Games also confirmed that a new storyline will be included in "Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution," focusing on the aforementioned Kushina Uzumaki, Minato Namikaze as well as the Kakashi, Obito and Run during their younger days.
The same title should also feature an exclusive chapter based on the Akatsuki. The new orb-collecting tournament mode should provide some insight on the Mecha Naruto character as well. A set of screenshots from the official "Naruto Video Game" Facebook page featuring Kushina Uzumaki can be viewed with the slideshow located to the left of this article. The details from the publisher can be seen below:
Kushina Uzumaki, second Jinchuriki of the Nine-Tails Fox and wife of fourth Hokage Minato Namikaze, is well known for her hot temper. Be prepared to witness how terrifying the red-haired tornado can be when she gets angry! Kushina’s appearance in Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution will be one of the keys to the brand new storyline between herself, Minato and his team members (Kakashi, Obito and Run during their youth).
All of the aforesaid characters will be playable in "Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution," which is going to feature the biggest cast in the popular series. Along with 100 fighters, the sequel comes with several gameplay changes that should please hardcore players. A new counterattack and guard break maneuver were implemented, for example, to add more depth.
The upcoming product will be published and distributed by Bandai Namco Games when it launches later this Sept. in the European and North American regions. Just like the previous games in the series, the development of "Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution" is being handled by CyberConnect2. The video game is going to be made available on the PC platform with Steam support along with the PS3 and Xbox 360 consoles.
