Last week Paramore announced the release of their new single, "Now," from their forthcoming album, "Paramore," due out on April 9. On Jan. 28, 2013 they unveiled plans for their first North American tour since 2010. The tour will commence on April 25 in Houston and wrap-up on May 16 at New York's Hammerstein Ballroom. The announcement will also include a date at the historic Chicago Theatre on May 9. Kitten will open all shows and additional cities are likely to be announced at a later date.
Tickets will go on sale to the general public on Feb. 1, with members of Paramore's Fan Club and Single's Club receiving an early crack at pre-sale tickets by invitation only. The tour visits smaller venues and is likely to sell out.
Though Paramore have released a few singles since 2009, the long awaited and much anticipated eponymous release is the first full-length album that follows the departure of guitarist, Josh Farro, and drummer, Zac Farro from the original lineup. Their split left a void in the Paramore sound, but Hayley Williams' trademark vocals and creative drive are obviously present in their new music.
