If casino gaming and casino entertainment aren't your style, how about a movie this weekend? Here's a sampling of the new movies playing in the Atlantic City area as of Feb. 10, 2012.
Journey 2: The Mysterious Island. Action/fantasy/ adventure story about a young man looking for his grandfather with the help of his mom's boyfriend. Rated PG. 94 min. Stars Dwayne Johnson ("The Rock"), Michael Caine and Vanessa Hudgens.
Safe House. Action/Adventure story about what happens when a CIA safe house is compromised. Rated R. 115 min. Stars Denzel Washington, Ryan Reynolds and Brendan Gleeson. (Continued below)
Star Wars: Episode 1 - The Phantom Menace. This is the 3D reissue of the George Lucas classic action/adventure film. Meet Anakin Skywalker as a young boy and relive all your favorite moments in realistic 3D. Rated PG. 136 min. Stars Liam Neeson, Ewan McGregor and Natalie Portman.
The Vow. Drama/Love Story. An accident puts a young wife into a coma. Upon awakening, her memory of everything is gone, including her husband. He vows to win her love once again. Rated PG-13. 104 min. Stars Rachel McAdams and Channing Tatum.
