New Movie: Safe Haven (Video)

Safe Haven is a predictable romance, which has been adapted from a Nicholas Spark novel, also named Safe Haven.

In this film, the pretty Katie (Julianne Hough) attempts to get away from a controlling and abusive husband by moving to a small South Carolina town (Southport) and assuming another identity, that of Katie Feldman.

Did we mention that the abusive ex is a cop? Well, yeah. So, it's pretty much futile to get away from him without camping out in Cabo and why not? It's beautiful there.

When Katie moves, she's feeling very vulnerable, yet guarded. Despite this fact, she meets widowed Alex (Josh Duhamel) and falls in love with him and his two young children.

Jo: How are you liking Southport?
Katie: It's definitely a change of pace.
Jo: From what?
Katie: Somewhere where I don't really want to go back to.

Katie: Does it get better with time?

Katie: He's gonna find me.
