There's a new motorcycle magazine that just hit the streets: Pinky's Passion Motorcycle Magazine. Published by Mary Baker, the Shreveport Motorcycle Travel Examiner, Pinky's Passion is published out of Shreveport and will highlight--but not focus solely--on that region of the country.
Baker, who goes by Pinky and thus the name, says she's planning on an issue every other month for the first year and then monthly issues after that.
Says Baker, "The magazine is not just for people who live in Louisiana, and it's not just for women. We are riders and we each log at least 10,000 miles per year. We'll continue to ride and provide content of interest across the United States and internationally."
The name of many of the featured writers in the magazine will be familiar to regular Examiner readers. They include Baker herself, of course, as well as:
Patty Nale Davis, National Motorcycle Travel Examiner
Abby Clabough, Fort Collins Motorcycle Travel Examiner
Ken Bingenheimer, National Motorcycle Examiner
Mark Poesch, DC Motorcycle Travel Examiner
This first issue features pieces on topics such as a road trip to the geographical center of the continental U.S., the Go Pro Hero 2 helmet camera, the cancer-fighting Conga Ride, and more.
