The Twilight Saga: New Moon continues to cause a fever, and the L.A. premiere has fans crazy for Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner, and Robert Pattinson.
Last week it was the UK fan party, where die hard Twilight fans went head over heels crazy at the sight of New Moon stars Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner, and Kristen Stewart.
And this week kicks off with more vampire and werewolf passion since, in L.A., fans have been camping out for days in hopes to get a good spot by the red carpet of the New Moon premiere. According to E! Online, fans of The Twilight Saga have been arriving since last Thursday, enjoying the vists of stars of the movie like werewolfs Alex Meraz and Kiowa Gordan, Cameron Bright of the Volturi, and even the handmodel who holds the apple on the cover of Stephenie Meyer's book Twilight book.
One student, 14-year-old Kestlie Stefanelli, loves New Moon so much she is missing three shool days to be there, and her mother, Laurie, thinks that is just fantastic: "Half of the teachers would be very excited if they knew what she was doing." (The question is, what would the other half think?)
Another fan, 27-year-old mom and grad student Amy Oeklers, flew in from Minneapolis, and said, "I like to dress up as [New Moon vampire] Alice Cullen [Ashley Greene] so I have two Twilight costumes," adding, "But they're from last year, so I have an Alice New Moon costume I'll be wearing. It's the same outfits she wears in the cardboard stand-ups and the action figures."
There is no question about it: The Twilight Saga: New Moon, and stars Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner, and Ashley Greene, are a phenomenon of supernatural proportions. And their fans, it is clear, are very, very devoted.
