Move over, hot mom Maria Kang. Fitness blogger Caroline Berg Eriksen has usurped Kang's "hot-mom" crown after posting a photo of her ridiculously flat abs on Instagram just four days after giving birth.

“During the pregnancy, people kept telling me my body will never be the same, and I wanted to show everybody that’s not entirely true,” Berg Eriksen, 26, told ABC News.

Berg Eriksen, the wife of Norwegian soccer star Lars-Kristian Eriksen, runs the most popular fitness blog in Norway.

She wanted to show that it's possible to regain your pre-baby body shortly after childbirth. Fitness experts say it takes nine months to a year for most moms to lose all their baby weight.

Caroline gained just 22 pounds during her pregnancy and worked out five to six days a week until she was 25 weeks pregnant.

Unlike most new moms, Berg Eriksen said she felt great right after delivery. “Right after birth, like three minutes after, I felt like myself again,” she said.

The Instagram photo of Berg Eriksen's unbelievably chiseled abs has fueled a firestorm, with many women expressing utter disbelief and shock at her incredible post-baby body.

“This can’t be true,” one woman wrote. Another remarked, “I just think it is absolutely inconceivable that we are of the same species.”

The reaction to Berg Eriksen has been tamer than that experienced by Maria Kang, who spurred an online backlash after asking women "What's Your Excuse?" for not having a hot body. Kang posted a photo of herself in midriff-baring apparel on Facebook eight months after giving birth to her third child.

Maria, 32, has since stirred more controversy after writing a post suggesting that overweight women have no right to be proud of themselves.

Whereas Kang's Facebook photo and posts fueled an avalanche of negative comments and accusations of fat-shaming, the reaction to Berg Eriksen has been more amazement than annoyance.

“Maria was very much in your face,” said blogger Erica Souter. “She meant it as a motivational tool but it came off insulting. Caroline was all about celebrating herself.”

Meanwhile, Berg Eriksen underscored that she wasn't trying to fat-shame anyone with her Instagram photo, and said all women should be proud of their bodies. “I think all women should be proud of themselves, regardless of how they look after labor,” she said.
