Ancient Craving provides black players card advantage at the cost of life. A recent example of black's willingness to pay any price to gain an advantage can be found on Underworld Connections.
It's interesting to note that Ancient Craving is functionally identical to Ambition's Cost, right down to the flavor text. Whereas Ambition's Cost was reprinted in "Eighth Edition" and inexpensive to acquire thanks to its changed rarity to uncommon, Ancient Craving has steadily crept up in price over the years due to its scarcity and use in the Commander format.
"Duel Decks: Sorin vs Tibalt" was designed and developed by Chris Millar and Kelly Digs. It will be available in English and in Japanese for an MSRP of $19.99 on March 15, 2013.
