While showing off screens for the PS4 and PS3 versions of Minecraft earlier this week, 4J Studios teased upcoming features within the images which currently aren’t available in the console editions of the game as they only appear on the PC client at this time. The screenshots showed a number of items coming in upcoming builds for Playstation versions of Minecraft such as ender chests. After fans discovered the new content hidden inside the images, the developer confirmed via their official Twitter account on Feb 4 that everything shown will also be heading to future updates on the Xbox One and Xbox 360.

Yes, the features shown in the pig plushies pic are on Xbox 360 and Xbox One as well

4J Studios is currently developing versions of Minecraft for both the Xbox One and Playstation 4. One of the biggest advantages that the next-generation editions will have over the currently available console versions is the new consoles will be able to support a much larger world size.

The developer recently announced that they have also begun work on Title Update 14 for Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition. It is likely that the content in question, which was recently teased in the PS4 screenshot, could be added with the upcoming patch.

Fans can now download Minecraft on Xbox 360 via Xbox Live Arcade. PS3 owners can also pick up the game through the PS Store.
