One of New Mexico's Most Prestigious Art Shows Celebrates 5th Year, Expands Event to Represent Quality and Diversity of State's Talented Photographers.

Now in its fifth year, the Annual New Mexico Photographic Art Show (ANMPAS) has become one of the state's most widely recognized and esteemed exhibits of photographic art by New Mexico photographers.

A competition that routinely draws entries from the state's best known photographic artists, the juried exhibit is open to the public from December 8th through the 29th at the Fine Arts Building at Expo New Mexico. The show's reputation draws thousands of visitors and collectors each year with attendees having an opportunity to mingle and meet the artists on opening night, December 7th.

ANMPAS is accepting entries for this year's competition and exhibit from now until September 30, 2013.

Photographers can enter images in seven categories - Abstract, Floral Botanical, Human Interest/Portrait, Scenic/Landscape, Still Life, Urban and Wildlife - and details about submissions can be found online at

All entrants must be New Mexico residents and images entered must be available for ultimate sale during the December exhibit period. All entries must be in by September 30, 2013 with artists notified of acceptance by mid-October.
