The family of the alleged puppy killer, Marshall Aragon, contacted the authorities after the three-month-old Chihuahua died.
Aragon allegedly attacked the pup after discovering that his couch had been chewed upon. According to a witness, the puppy was grabbed by the neck and Aragon squeezed until the pup was motionless.
Aragon admitted to the police that he squeezed the puppy in anger, stating:
"All I saw was red and I did it."
The pup died a horrific death following Aragon's attack. As a result of the 250 pound man's assault the puppy was reported to have sustained broken bones and ruptured organs.
Aragon, who admits to having "anger issues," is facing a felony charge for his actions.
