A new message has popped up on the official website for the mysterious multiplatform title, “The Phantom Pain,” which is believed to be “Metal Gear Solid 5.” According to a report by Video Games Uncovered on Feb. 19, the text provides an explanation behind the meaning of “phantom pain” sensation. The words of “Pain,” “Lumin” and “Portion” were softly highlighted. The first trailer of “The Phantom Pain” contains numerous hints that suggest that the video game may actually be a teaser for “Metal Gear Solid 5.” According to the official website, the game will be coming to the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 consoles.
Kojima Productions, the studio responsible for the previously main games in the “Metal Gear Solid” series, is currently developing “Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes,” which will lead up to the events of the fifth numbered release.
