First it was Summerlin and Anthem, then Rhodes Ranch, Mountains Edge and more. Now, still more master planned communities are on the way for the Las Vegas Valley.
Grading has just begun at Cadence, a 2,200 acre community in Henderson off Boulder Highway. The community will feature 1.1 million square feet of retail space, a 1,500 room resort and up to 13,250 homes.
Skye Canyon in the northwest side of the valley just broke ground. That site is 1,700 acres and is slated for 9,000 homes, plus biking and hiking trails.
Park Highlands in North Las Vegas is designed for 15,000 homes. The 2,700 acre site will feature approximately 15,000 homes. Construction is scheduled to start early next year.
Inspirada in Henderson which went bankrupt in 2011 is back in action. The community has approx. 7,500 more homes to build.
The communities are expected to bring up to 45,000 new homes to the area.
