Spring, Texas, has a new massage school on Louetta Road. Laurel School of Massage was established by Caroline Guerin, LMT MTI, to fill the need for a private school that serves the individual needs of students.
As massage chains such as Massage Heights, full service spas and salons sprout up in every strip mall, the need for licensed massage therapists grows. In addition many small businesses that offer massage are having trouble finding ambitious serious LMTs to serve clients. The result is more competitive job openings. Laurel aims to train Licensed Massage Therapists, giving them the skills they need to succeed in a changing professional landscape.
Located in the upscale Champions area of Harris County, just north of Houston, Laurel offers a convenient, safe location with easy access to restaurants, fast food, child care and plentiful parking. Mrs. Guerin, has designed an educational environment that is roomy and attractive.
In addition to basic training, Laurel offers hands-on continuing education classes, canine massage classes, and personal informational massage classes for non-professionals.
