New ‘Mass Effect 4’ details teased by ‘Mass Effect 3’ developer (Photos)

Yanick Roy has posted a small tease in regards to what to expect from the next “Mass Effect” video game, which will presumably be called “Mass Effect 4.” According to a report from the NeoGAF forum on Feb. 7, the studio director at Bioware Montreal revealed that much of the lore and history of the “Mass Effect” universe will remain intact in the new title. You can check out some screens from “Mass Effect 3” in the slideshow at the top of this article and Yanick Roy’s comments in regards to “Mass Effect 4” below (courtesy of the NeoGAF forum):

What makes it Mass Effect is indeed the alien races, the technology, the lore, history, etc. You can safely expect those in the next Mass Effect. :)

“Mass Effect 4,” which will be using the Frostbite 2 game engine, will be developed by Bioware.

“Mass Effect 3” came out for the PC, Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 platforms in North America on March 6, 2012. The role-playing game was also ported to the Nintendo Wii U when the system launched on Nov. 18 of the same year. You can buy the game in the following link: “Mass Effect 3”
