New 'Mario & Luigi' game announced during Nintendo's Direct Presentation

Today Nintendo held another Nintendo Direct presentation, announcing various new games and projects. Of course, the biggest announcements center around the new games that are coming soon for the Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo Wii U.

The next game in the "Mario & Luigi" series was announced. The series, for those that don't know, started way back in 2003 on the Game Boy Advance. The series takes a turn from the standard 2D adventure style "Mario" games and goes RPG on everything.

The last time gamers got their RPG hands on the brothers was back in back in 2009 with "Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story" on the regular DS. So the wait for this one has been a long time coming.

"Mario & Luigi: Dream Team" brings the brothers back together for another adventure, this time it's on the Nintendo 3DS. On top of that, the game will be set in Luigi's dream world, which should provide for some interesting levels.

Seems like Luigi is all over the place right now. He's got his own 3DS game and this next game is going to focus on him. What's next, Luigi DLC?

"Mario & Luigi: Dream Team" will launch for the Nintendo 3DS this Summer.
