Some details have been revealed in regards to the upcoming multiplatform video game, “Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII.” In an interview with Videogaming247 on Feb. 14, Motomu Toriyama disclosed some information on the replay value factor in the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 title. The game director mentioned that players will be experiencing something different new every time they replay the game due to how the game is structured with its time and world moving mechanisms. The game is structured so that time is constantly ticking away during gameplay and the world moving and changing with it, meaning that every time you play through you can have a new experience.
Motomu Toriyama and the rest of his team at the Square Enix 1st Production Department are currently developing “Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII.” The direct sequel to “Final Fantasy XIII” and “Final Fantasy XIII-2” is expected to be released by Square Enix for the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 consoles in North America later this fall.
