The three albums, Led Zeppelin I, Led Zeppelin II and Led Zeppelin III, mark the beginning of a complete catalog upgrade, and will be issued in single and double disc versions, Rhino says, with the added discs including previously unreleased companion audio. Each album will also be available in vinyl (LZI, LZII, LZIII) and digital formats.

A Super Deluxe edition (LZI, LZII, LZIII) combining all three albums will include the remastered album on CD in vinyl replica sleeve; the companion audio on CD in card wallet; the remastered album on 180-gram vinyl in a sleeve replicating first pressing; the companion audio on 180-gram vinyl; and a high-def audio download card of all content at 96kHz/24 bit. (Live tracks are 48kHz/24 bit); a hard bound, 70-plus page book filled with rare and previously unseen photos and memorabilia; a high quality print of the original album cover; the first 30,000 of which will be individually numbered; and a replica of the band’s original Atlantic press kit.

The companion audio for Led Zeppelin I features a previously unreleased performance recorded on October 10, 1969, at the Olympia Theatre in Paris. The nine-song set features seven tracks from the album, including a 15-minute version of “Dazed And Confused,” as well as “Heartbreaker” and “Moby Dick,” which was released on Led Zeppelin II.

According to Rolling Stone, Jimmy Page has been working on the reissues for almost a year and a half and said the new releases would have "added sonic and visual thrills."

The remasters aren't the only thing coming out. A DVD documentary, "Way Down Inside," will be released May 13.

LZI, LZII, and LZIII will each be available from Atlantic/Swan Song in the following formats:
