The PlayStation 4 and Gaikai have been discussed a bit, and while there are still many questions people have about how exactly Gaikai will work with the PS4, new leadership has arrived there.

According to information obtained by Examiner.com today, Gaikai has named a new vice president of business development and account management, Careen Yapp.

Yapp spoke about what it means to be joining the Gaikai team and her newly acquired position.

"I could not be more excited to join Gaikai.

"The Talented team at the company has pioneered the cloud gaming market, and SCE's plans for Gaikai's technology will further its leadership by delivering amazing next-generation experiences for gamers around the world," Yapp said.

Robert Stevenson, who is the Gaikai chief business officer, talked about his reaction to the newly named vice president.

"We are delighted to have Careen join Gaikai. Her strong background in both business and gaming will add further depth to our team, helping us continue to develop the most consumer accessible and content rich cloud streaming experiences available," Stevenson said.

There has not been any solid confirmation as to when Gaikai will be fully implemented into the PlayStation 4, but Sony will surely have more to share as the months go on.
