Starting this spring: March 24 - April 28, 2012, "Leading by Example" will presesnt their "Leaders in Service" 6-week workshop for teens, facilitated by Kelley Raleigh (former director of Teen Insight), Eldrick Bone & Margalit Ward.
When: Saturdays
Time: 10am-6pm
Where: West LA
Who: Teens, Ages 14-18
Fee: $595
Early Bird Discount: $495 (if registering before March 10, 2012)
Lunch will be included each day.
The focus of the workshop will be to empower teens through learning the value of service & discovering ways to become leaders in their lives.
Topics of the Workshop:
DAY 1 -- Self Awareness & Self Acceptance
Discovering what makes you great.
DAY 2 -- Communication
Practicing communicating your ideas, frustrations and loving more effectively.
DAY 3 -- Creativity
A day devoted to your creative expression.
DAY 4 -- Group Service Project
The group will research, select and produce a one-day project for a local community.
DAY 5 -- Day of Service Project
Connecting with a community you have selected to work with.
