New Kids on the Block will tour with Boyz II Men, 98 Degrees starting in May (Photos)

The New Kids on the Block are officially back, ready to tour, and are bringing along some friends for the whole ride. People announced on Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2013, that NKOTB will begin touring later this year and they will be bringing along Boyz II Men and 98 Degrees along for the whole ride starting in Uncasville, Connecticut.

"It just seems like we are getting better and better," Joey McIntyre, 40, tells PEOPLE. "We're excited to get out there, rock out and have fun."

The New Kids on the Block will headline the tour with 98 Degrees and Boyz II Men opening for them.

Along with the big news of the huge tour, the New Kids on the Block announced the release date of their next album "10," which will be coming out on April 2, 2013. It is the first new album for the group in over four years.

"We have been doing this for almost 25 years," says McIntyre. "So it's important that the music and the lyrics speak to who we are as grown men – and the album reflects that."

Old school fans won't be disappointed though because the New Kids on the Block will continue to show that they are exactly who they have always been.

"There is a lot of nostalgia and we embrace that," says the singer. "But it always feels young and fresh. I guess that's one of the great things about being in the music business is that you never have to quite grow up."
