New Kids on the Block to play First Niagara Center in August

Attention Buffalo boy band lovers! New Kids on the Block have added a string of new shows, including one in the Queen City, to their summer tour with multi-platinum selling 98 Degrees and Grammy Award-winning Boyz II Men, the best-selling R&B group of all time. The Package Tour will hit First Niagara Center on Friday, August 2 at 7:30 p.m.

New Kids on the Block, who last performed in Buffalo in May 2011 with Backstreet Boys, are gearing up to release a brand new album 10 on April 2. The album will feature the single "Remix (I Like The)," which dropped on iTunes January 28. The Package Tour will mark the first tour for 98 degrees in over 12 years. Boyz II Men’s most recent studio album, Twenty, was released in 2011. The double album, named in recognition of the group’s twenty years in the music industry, includes thirteen original tracks and eight re-recorded classics.

Tickets - which cost $92, $72, $52 and $29.50 (includes $2.50 facility fee) - will go on sale Saturday, February 23 at 10 a.m. and can be purchased at Tickets.com, the First Niagara Center Box Office, or by phone at 888-223-6000. A random handbill policy will be in effect and a limited number of handbills are available now.
