Joey McIntyre, hearthrob from New Kids On the Block, is encouraging fans to donate to his new charity foundation called "Let's Get This". Donations will be accepted on the New Kids on the Block tour.
First Book is teaming up with the New Kid's crew by sending a book to a child in need for every $2 donated on the tour. Not only will needy children get a book but Joey McIntyre will be giving out vouchers to everyone who donates to the "Lets Get This Foundation" that will be good for a free download of his latest song, Five Brothers and Million Sisters.
McIntyre's charity is playing off of a famous New Kids on the Block album, Step by Step, in order to explain the focus of the charities efforts. Books are just the first "step" in what the "Let's Get This Foundation" hopes to provide those in need and the first of many steps that will be taken to give back.
The book drive will take place during the New Kids on the Block Full Service Summer Tour and volunteers will be accepting book donations before the shows.
