You know that old kid's chant about "I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream?" That may change to "we all scream for falafel!" or at least, "we all dream of falafel."
I Dream of Falafel introduces a new kids' menu that offers fresh, local and healthy Mediterranean ingredients in one meal.
Kids can fill their brightly colored five-compartment tray with golden rice, organic hummus (original or roasted red bell pepper), house-made pita chips, and choice of protein (chicken kebab, falafel and doner kebab) plus organic milk or juice (priced at $4.99).
It's an easy and inexpensive way to get kids into gluten-free, low-fat, low carb, high protein, preservative-free, hormone-free plus no trans-fat items. Kids Menu will be available beginning March 11.
On Easter Sunday, bring in the whole family for lunch or dinner and kids can sample the new Kids Menu for free. Sunday, March 31, I Dream of Falafel will be open from 10:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.
