New judges introduced at TGIM meeting

On Monday, Nov. 5, 2012, the Fort Myers Film Festival (FMff), in Fort Myers, Fla., was represented by the Thank Goodness It's Monday (TGIM) meeting. During the meeting new judges were introduced.

The TGIM meetings are open to its members and to the public. Guests can include actors, directors, producers and others in or interested in the entertainment industry.

At these meetings one can enjoy independent films that are taken into consideration for the 2013 film festival.

The Nov. 5 meeting, held at the Sidney and Berne Davis Art Center, introduced new judges. The judges were photographer Vanessa Rogers, NBC-2's Chad Oliver and artist Leoma Lovegrove.

Happy Half Hour began at 6:30 p.m. before the evening's entertainment and judging of films began.

The night's host was Eric Raddatz, and the co-host was Melissa DeHaven.

The musical guest was Spencer Saso.

Offered at this meeting was a transparent view of how the films are selected.

Also included was an official program, refreshments and networking.

"The series will continue through Feb. 25, 2013. The 3rd annual festival will be held March 20-24, 2013.
