A New Jersey witness traveling along Route 322 in Atlantic County reports briefly watching a fast-moving object described as a "cloaked triangle," according to December 15, 2011, testimony from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.
"I saw some distance ahead of me a moving distortion in the (fairly solid and darkish) clouds that appeared as a very fast large 'cloaked' triangle shape moving at high speed," the witness stated. "It appeared several times larger than I would expect a passenger jet to appear at that distance. I was traveling east to west; the distortion moved from north to south."
The object was seen for about two seconds.
"It was like there was a 'cloaked', large triangular 'flying wing' turned on its side. Think of the distortion of the jungle in the movie "Predator" when the alien moved while cloaked. That is how a part of the clouds looked."
The witness is curious about what was seen.
"I don't believe it was 'alien', but something natural and outside of my experience. I would love to know just what it was."
No images or videos were included with the MUFON report, which was filed on December 15, 2011. The events occurred on December 13, 2011. Atlantic County is in southern New Jersey, population 274,549. The above quotes were edited for clarity.
New Jersey is a current UFO ALERT 4 rating, with a higher than average number of UFO sightings nationally. New Jersey had 18 reports in November, the 12th highest reporting state - while California had 72 reports in November 2011 - the highest reporting state in the nation.

NJ, December 13, 2011 - 'Invisable' triangular UFO. MUFON Case 34043.
I was traveling along RT322 in Atlantic Co., NJ when at around 4:40 PM I saw some distance ahead of me a moving distortion in the (fairly solid & darkish) clouds that appeared as a very fast large 'cloaked' triangle shape moving at high speed. It appeared several times larger than I would expect a passenger jet to appear at that distance. I was traveling east to west, the distortion moved from north to south. It was in my field of view for not more than 2 seconds. It was like there was a 'cloaked' large triangular 'flying wing' turned on its side. Think of the distortion of the jungle in the movie Predator when the alien moved while cloaked. That is how a part of the clouds looked. I thought, "What the hell was that!"
It is the first time I have seen something that I can not explain. I don't believe it was 'alien', but something natural & outside of my experience. I would love to know just what it was.
