In a case of deja vu' all over again, members of the Obama administration said on the Sunday talk shows that the START treaty signing will lead to greater Russian cooperation on Iran, due to a greater trust between the two nations.
If we recall, the decision by the Obama administration to end the United States missile defense program in Eastern Europe months back, was to lead to greater Russian cooperation on Iranian sanctions. What came of that? Absolutely Nothing!
Unless you consider a weaker United States to be something. Why would we assume greater cooperation from the Russians this time?
Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.
