According to a February 9 report in iDownloadBlog, Chris Poole releases DrawQuest, a community-based app iPad. The aim of this game is simple: Each day you are asked to go on a quest to complete a drawing using only your imagination and the easy to use tools provided. Here are some examples:

Also new in the Apps store today is Defense Effect, a new genre of Turret Defense with cool graphics. Your goal in this first-person shooter is to protect lands, sectors and buildings. There are three modes: Campaign, Survival and Infinity. In Campaign, you can try each weapon, in Survival, you need to earn each weapon and in Infinity, you enemies are unlimited. There are 11 stages in Campaign; 16 in Survival. There's lots of fun here with realistic enemies and friendly unit support. This app is free for today and supports iPad 2+ , iPad mini and iPhone 4+.
Fresh to the app store today is Talking Panda Mime, a really cute Valentine app. In this really awesome app, your face's expressions and your voice are reflected in the actions and sounds of an adorable panda. If you create a message and throw a kiss, it is the panda that will say your message and throw a kiss. Then you can share your message (starring the panda) with your friends or loved ones on Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, or through iCloud Photo Album or regular email. There are also special Valentine's Packs where you can present a rose. This app is free but some features need to be unlocked for 99 cents.
