New image of Ben Affleck as Batman revealed for Comic-Con

A new image of Ben Affleck as Batman is featured at Comic-Con
Warner Bros. Pictures

With the San Diego Comic Con this weekend, it is safe to say that moviegoers will be seeing more on the upcoming Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice. It was just last year when this massive blockbuster was announced, and though the film is less then two years, Dawn for Justice is certain to make an appearance at this years event. While any details on the film will not be revealed until Warner Bros.' Panel (which is schedule for this Saturday), there is already plenty to showcased for the movie; more in particular the Dark Knight Batman. Displayed at the convention are all the capes and cowls that Batman has dawned in his cinematic appearances. This also includes the cape that Ben Affleck will be wearing for the 2016 film.

Along with the display on the convention is a new promo image for Batman v.Superman. The new picture features Ben Affleck as Batman. The image is much like first pic of the Dark Knight, the only difference is that new image is a close up of Batman. It is nothing revealing, but the new photo of the cape crusader is nothing but impressive. For starters, the images is in color so fans can rest of at ease knowing that Batman's cape and cowl is black. However what is really outstanding is the detail that can is in the cowl. You can see the fabric on the cowl as well some spots where the outfit looks aged. That would make sense seeing that the film will feature a battle worn Batman. Needless to say, it is great detail to see in this new image.

While it may not be much,it certainly enough to get fans excited for Dawn of Justice. Hopefully this image is first of many reveals for Batman v.Superman this weekend; as well the proposed DC Cinematic Universe.

What do you think? Do you think this image of Batman is great? Express your thoughts in the comments below. Batman v.Superman: Dawn of Justice hits theaters on May 6, 2016.
