There's a new App in town that's saving couponer's hundreds of dollars. It is known by the name Ibotta. You may already be using this valuable tool to saving money, however if you’re new to Ibotta read on. Before I get into the specifics of this revolution in savings, let's take a look at the basics.
1) App's are software PROGRAMS that can be run on your computer, phone or electronic device.
2) Hundreds of saving apps are available
3) Some apps are free while others cost
Ibotta is a free app for the savvy shopper providing maximum savings with minimal effort. Does this app really pay off? You be the judge.
1) Top user for 2012 earned $5,010
2) Top earner in one receipt made $42
A $5000 deposit in my paypal account sounds pretty inviting. Here's how it works:
(NOTE: this app is currently only compatible with Android devices running on platform 2.2 and newer, iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPod touch – 3rd generation, iPod touch – 4th generation, iPod touch – 5th generation and iPad 2 and iPad 3. I also found out my iPhone 4 must have iOS 5 to run this app)
1) Sign up for Ibotta
2) Once you’re registered, start choosing offers you’re interested in. (Simply choose products you intend to purchase, then take a survey, read a recipe, watch a video, etc… you choose!)
3) After you make the purchases you’ve chosen, take a picture of your receipt and upload it (using the app’s camera feature)
4) Once your receipt is uploaded, Ibotta will let you know within 24 hours that your credit is available.
5) Once your earnings reach $5 they can be transferred to your PayPal account or donated to any school in the US

Saving money and making money go hand in hand. Coming up January 26th in Clarksville TN at Daymar Institute I will presenting a workshop for people desiring to grow a work from home career. The concepts taught at this workshop will apply to all people, however it is being conducted to help military families provide stable continuing income during times of transfer. The workshop will be from 9-3 with breakfast and lunch provided and will have 3 keynote speakers including myself, Renee Bobb—a radio talk show host and Teri Harrison—a lawyer and motivational speaker. Each registrant will receive a free copy of my book “Exploding Into Successful Entrepreneurship—Bringing Your God-Given Gifts To The Surface For Success.” Check out this event on my website www.annhaney.com for all the details and to register for this event. Hope to see you there.
