Movie fans in Scottsdale are waiting to see The Dark Knight Rises on the big screen. On Saturday, First Showing shared the latest HQ photos from the production. The site also shared the latest comments made by Batman himself, Christian Bale. Check out the photos here. If you missed any of the previously photos or information released for this film, go here.
The Dark Knight Rises has been in production since the start of the summer, but word from Bale himself is that the actual filming of the film has wrapped. His time as Batman and Bruce Wayne is over. The character will become attached to someone else at some point because Batman truly never dies. Bale said the following about his version of Batman in Christopher Nolan's films:
"We always maintained from the beginning that if you wanted to break it down, there are three personas – Batman is sincere, the private Bruce Wayne is sincere. The public version of Bruce Wayne, the playboy, is a completely fabricated performance," Bale says. "I've stopped referencing outside sources. I now reference Chris' own world of Batman as a guide to what I will continue doing."
Bane and Catwoman are both featured in this new film that has fans buzzing on social media. One fan said the following on Twitter recently:
July isn't soon enough. #TheDarkKnightRises
The Dark Knight Rises will arrive in Scottsdale theaters in July 2012.
