On the fence of the town line between Hartford and West Hartford, lies Damon's Tavern. The restaurant opened on March 17, 2010-St. Patrick's Day. They certainly kicked off with a bang. The place is always packed, especially the bar area. Game days bring the crowds due to the array of HD screen tv's throughout the entire establishment. Each table even has their own personal model.
There is a sportsbar-like atmosphere with accents of modern, neutral decor. The lighting is low and large, comfortable booths are offered for seating. The menu is filled with all-American goodies such as wings, salads, pizza, burgers and larger entrees. Not to be missed are the Cottage Pie, the Two Eggs Sandwich and the Boneless Wings. There is also a full bar available. The wait staff is extremely friendly and ready to make recommendations. This is a venue that's great for the whole family. Whether you want a place to have happy hour with friends, to watch the game with the guys or to dine with the kiddies, this is the place to be.
