New home sales for the city of Charlotte are up for 2010

Sold Homes in the city of Charlotte

For 2010, a total of 6588 homes were sold, of which 791 were new constuction. The average sales price was $220,352.00.

For 2009, a total of 6760 homes were sold, of which 724 were new constuction. The average sales price was $205,339.00.

For 2008, a total of 8281 homes were sold, of which 1150 were new constuction. The average sales price was $233,905.00.

For 2007, a total of 12444 homes were sold, of which 1975 were new constuction. The average sales price was $244,561.00.

It looks like new home sales in the city of Charlotte is up in 2010 compared to 2009 and the average new home sales price is also up from 2009. Although the sales are still less than half of what they were in 2007, at least they are moving in the right direction.

Waterlyn had 20 homes sold with and average sales price of $175,144.00. Creekshire Village had 18 homes sold with and average sales price of $178,939.00. Summerour Place had 17 homes sold with and average sales price of $100,779.00. Ardrey Chase had 16 homes sold with and average sales price of $340,569.00.
