New healthcare business will create 200 new jobs

People who are seeking careers in the healthcare industry may want to consider applying for a job at Vicinitas Cancer Care, which is a spin-off from the Cancer Treatments of America. The organization is beginning in Boca Raton and is projected to create 200 new jobs over the next five years, according to an announcement by the Business Development Board of Palm Beach County, contained in an article by Marcia Heroux Pounds in the August 22 Sun Sentinel.

This corporation is a nationwide network of doctors and professionals who work in oncology care. Some of the jobs available include executive positions that will have salaries of about $115,000, according to the article by Marcia Heroux Pounds in the August 22 Sun Sentinel.

"This is good news for South Florida. These are good jobs and they pay well. I glad that a company that is providing a much needed service is locating to Boca Raton. This will help many people who are facing cancer and who need a good job," said Terry Stanfield.

Business leaders in South Florida have been pursuing healthcare companies that offer high paying jobs. They are often willing to offer extensive tax breaks and will even help with relocation costs. The reason cities want these companies is that fact that they do provide stable and high paying jobs. And those high paying jobs mean more money for the rest of the local economy.

"I am glad that this companies is coming and I may see if I can work there. I have a background in business and may I could help this company," said Bridgette Saunders.

"I work as a waitress and I am always glad to hear that a company is coming to the area and offering good jobs. Because I depend on customers having money to spend, I want more companies to hire more people. For me this is good to hear. I hope it continues," said Sarah Michaels.
