The New Hampshire SPCA is hosting its annual Paws Walk on June 8, 2014 to benefit the animals at the shelter. Walk for a good cause and register to raise funds for animals in need. The Paws Walk will take place at Stratham Hill Park in Stratham, NH, rain or shine.
Registration for the walk begins at 10 a.m. and the walk starts at 12 p.m. Dogs are welcome but must be leashed and well behaved. The walk route is either one and a half or two miles. Adult (16 and over) registration is $20 per person and children under 16 are $5.
The Paws Walk will also have entertainment, music and food. After your walk, enjoy the many vendors and exhibits. Children can get their face painted. There are prizes for adults and children who raise the most money.
The New Hampshire Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals is a non-profit, 501c(3) organization that helps homeless, abused and abandoned animals of all types. The NHSPCA aims to educate the public, offer adoptions and investigate animal cruelty.
