Another new infinite money exploit has been discovered for the multiplayer mode of the recently-released open-world action-adventure video game, “GTA 5.” According to a report by Stick Skills on Oct. 21, the new method is similar to the vehicle resell glitch that was recently fixed by Rockstar Games.
The latest exploit uses the Los Santos Custom shop. It requires players to park their vehicle close to the store, set the spawn option to “last location” and then exit back to the story mode. Upon returning, the player are instructed to sell the vehicle at Los Santos Custom, immediately bring up the swap character menu and then re-selecting the same multiplayer character (canceling during this step would disable the exploit). If done correctly, players will be able to acquire the cash from the sale and keep their custom cars. You can check out some screens from “GTA 5” and the video tutorial to the left of this article.
The exploit only works on invite-only sessions in the multiplayer mode. Furthermore, the player won’t be able to resell super cars (an upgraded Karin Sultan was used in the video guide).
Rockstar Games previously patched a similar exploit that gave players infinite money. The company will likely do the same with the latest exploit discovered in the “GTA 5” multiplayer campaign, which was formally launched on Oct. 1.
