Starting today Twitch TV has a new feature for “Call of Duty” players. On Xbox 360 players will be able to stream their “Call of Duty: Black Ops II” games directly from their console. For streamers this in-game feature is a major convenience that will surely get a lot of use.
The recent release of “Call of Duty:Black Ops II: Revolution” DLC means a lot of people will be playing the game and looking for some streams showcasing the new content. Twitch’s in-game streaming feature couldn't have come at a more opportune time. Right now the feature is only for Xbox but is coming for PS3 and PC soon.
All you need to do is connect to your Twitch account from within “Call of Duty: Black Ops II”. You will then be able to broadcast directly to your Twitch channel. As well as having picture-in-picture broadcasting with Xbox Kinect and the ability to automatically share your live feed to Facebook and Twitter.
Streaming has never been easier for gamers and this new feature is going to help keep Twitch on top of the video game streaming market. As the in-game streaming is adapted for more platforms and games this will be one of the most used features. We look forward to using it.
