New free iPad, iPhone, iPod touch games worth getting today
According to a Mar. 11 report in “All App News”, “The Simpsons:Tapped Out” just received an update today for St. Patrick's Day. Earlier we mentioned that this new game begins after Homer causes an explosion at the nuclear power plant that he works in and now you must help him rebuild the town.
With this new update, new characters, storyline and buildings are added to celebrate St Patrick's Day (which is on Sunday, March 17). You can now go down to O' Flanagan's Pub, grab a pint and help Tom O' Flanagan and the Leprechaun settle in to their new home. There are also new decorations like a Wishing Well and shamrocks plus new quests!
This fun game is packed with original content from the show's writers and a must-download for fans of “The Simpsons”. Free.
A completely new game that just hit the App Store is called “Cat Warrior”. When legions of evil mice invade your village, who can you turn to for help? The super hero felines know as Cat Warriors! This simple game works like a basic Tower Defense game: You figure out where the mice are going to come from and then you position the Cat Warriors where you think they can do the most good at stopping the mice.
Each Cat Warrior has different powers and each can be upgraded. You'll need to keep upgrading them because the mice grow in number and strength. With its cartoon-like graphics, this game is a fun and stress-free way to pass the time. Free.
“The Simpsons: Tapped Out” works with all versions of iPad, iPhone and iPod touch. “Cat Warrior” is compatible with the iPad, iPhone 3GS+ and iPod touch 4th generation+. We'll be back next time with more news and free apps for iPad, iPhone and iPod touch!
