New Fox comedy ‘Enlisted’ may prove to be a winner

A brand new comedy is coming to Fox and it may prove to be a Friday night hit for the network. “Enlisted” is a show about three brothers that end up stationed together at a post in Florida. TV Line dished some details about this charming new show on Jan. 2 and it sounds like it may go over quite well with viewers.

The comedy focuses on brothers Pete (Geoff Stults, “The Finder”), Derrick (Chris Lowell, “Private Practice”) and Randy (Parker Young, “Suburgatory”) as they take on their military duties at the same post at Fort McGee. Pete becomes his younger brothers' platoon sergeant, which will prove to be quite the experience.

The show also stars actors Angelique Cabral (“Don’t Trust the B—- in Apartment 23”) and Keith David (Platoon). “Enlisted” is said to be full of heart, as well as humor. The bond between the Hill brothers, their misfit friends, and the military families that they come in contact with throughout the freshman season, is said to be heartwarming and a show that was meant to be watched by everyone. It might become a Friday night favorite for the mid-season of television.

It really could be a toss-up on whether that particular night will work for this show, especially for its first season. However, it could develop into a fan favorite amongst family viewers. Catch it on Fox on Jan.10 at 9:30 p.m. EST.

Will you be giving “Enlisted” a try?
