Jessica Simpson has a new boyfriend, former NFL player Eric Johnson. Jessica, a Texas native, has been dating the Yale grad since May, according to People.
Eric was released from his contract with the New Orleans Saints in 2008, and prior to that he had been with the San Francisco 49ers. Jessica previously dating another NFL player, Tony Romo of the Dallas Cowboys.
There was a third member of the Tony/Jessica relationship ... the fans. And they were not pleased, as is evidenced by doing a quick Google search. One of the headlines that pops up reads "Jessica Simpson Ruins Pro Football". It's probably for the best that Jessica's new love interest is a former NFL player.
Jessica, who turns 30 on Saturday, is also said to be returning to VH1 with a retooled version of her show The Price of Beauty. Check out a clip from the first season of the show below.

Not JS's biggest fan (love her shoes though) but I have to say I liked the show on VH1. Interesting to see the cultural differences around the world in relation to beauty and women's self-image.
