Starting on Sep. 1, 2014, Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party will return to Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World Resort. This fun Halloween-themed party takes place on select nights from 7:00 p.m. to midnight through Oct. 31. Every year there is a little something new and this year is no different.
One of the new souvenirs is a limited-edition MagicBand with the party logo and it comes in a decorative box. Only 5,000 will be available and they'll cost $29.95 (plus tax). To active they MagicBand, guests must present a valid theme park admission ticket, active MagicBand or Memory Maker card at time of purchase.
This year, guests can enjoy a new addition, Villains’ Sinister Soiree: A Wicked Takeover of Cinderella Castle. Guests will enjoy preferred viewing for the 8:15 p.m. Mickey’s Boo-to-You Halloween Parade and HalloWishes Fireworks Spectacular. Following the fireworks, guests will head to Cinderella’s Royal Table in the castle for delicious desserts and villainous entertainment.
Lady Tremaine, Cinderella's evil step mother, takes over the castle. She's invited some of her evil friends to enjoy the dessert party. Disney Villains may include Dr. Facilier (Princess and the Frog), Evil Queen (Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs), Maleficent (Sleeping Beauty) and Cruella de Vil (101 Dalmations). Guests will be welcomed with Lady Tremaine and a piano player.
The Villains' Sinister Soiree: A Wicked Takeover of Cinderella Castle costs $99 for ages 3 and older, plus tax (gratuity included). Admission to Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is required, as this is a separate ticketed event not included with admission to the park. Tickets are limited. Reservations can be made by calling (407) 939-5262. Each guest who attends receives an autograph card and souvenir Maleficent dragon cup.
