When the new Pantopia area opens at Busch Gardens Tampa later this year, the centerpiece will be the new Falcon's Fury ride. You'll see it long before you get to Pantopia's colorful gates because it soars more than 300 feet in the air.
However, Pantopia itself has plenty to offer. It's taking over the park's old Timbuktu area, and as you'll see in the video accompanying this article, it's bringing some upgrades to the rides, as well as new dining and shopping options. Even the former Timbuktu 4-D theater is getting a major renovation. As you'll see in the video, it's being completely gutted and redone to prepare it for a new live animal show with both rescued domestic pets and some more exotic creatures.
In the video, vice-president Mark Rose describes many of the changes and new venues. There's plenty of rich theming, too, which you can learn about by jumping to this article and watching the video with Brian Morrow.
