New ‘Fire Emblem: Awakening' DLC, Smash Brethren 1, now available for download

The website Serenes Forest has revealed a new piece of downloadable content that is now available for “Fire Emblem: Awakening.” This piece of DLC is known as Smash Brethren 1, and is the first in a set of 3 pieces of Smash Brethren DLC. The DLC was released on March 14, 2013 and is available at a price of $3.00. Players also have the option to purchase all 3 pieces of Smash Brethren DLC via the Smash Pack, which is available for $6.50. Note that this pack will unlock all three pieces of DLC, but the other two maps will not be available to play until they are released in the future.

Smash Brethren 1 places the player into battle as the ally of Roy, who is originally from “Fire Emblem: Sword of Seals,” a title that was never released in the United States. The player will be against Ike’s army, although the enemy boss will be Micaiah. These two are from the game “Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn,” which released on the Nintendo Wii in the United States in 2007. The enemy units in this battle are all promoted, ranging from level 3 promoted to level 10 promoted, and will thus be somewhat difficult to defeat for an unprepared party.

After completing the Smash Brethren 1 DLC, the player will receive Elincia’s Card, which will allow the player to recruit Elincia. She is another character from “Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn.” She will join the party as a level 6 Falcon Knight, and will thus be rather powerful.
