The Last Exorcism Part 2 hits theaters this Friday and new featurette has popped up online. The first film was well received by many even though the ending was less than desirable. In the sequel we find an older Nell who thinks she has escaped the clutches of the demon. She couldn't be more wrong. The featurette is a behind the scenes look at Exorcism which is great because many get this film confused with the other possession films that came out around the same time.
“Continuing where the first film left off, Nell Sweetzer (Ashley Bell) is found alone and terrified in the woods. Back in the relative safety of civilization, Nell realizes that she can’t remember entire portions of the previous months only that she is the last surviving member of her family. Just as Nell begins the difficult process of starting a new life, the evil force that once possessed her is back with other, unimaginably horrific plans that mean her last exorcism was just the beginning.”
The featurette hosted by Ashley Bell is funny and states the reason why they thought the sequel was needed. The Last Exorcism Part 2 is directed by Ed Gass-Donnelly in theaters this Friday March 1st. Be on the lookout for my official review.
