The highly anticipated action film Fast & Furious 6 won't release until May 24, but actor Vin Diesel treated fans to a new image from the film via his official Facebook page on Monday, Jan. 14. The film will be the sixth installment in the car centric franchise which has spanned more than a decade so far. The image includes Diesel returning to the role of professional criminal Dominic Toretto and Michelle Rodriguez as Letty Ortiz, Toretto's girlfriend who was presumed dead until the events of the previous film. Diesel included the following caption with the photo to tease fans about the upcoming trailer for the film:

Fast & Furious 6, also known as Fast Six, was directed by Justin Lin and starred Paul Walker as Brian O'Connor, Gina Carano, Luke Evans as Own Shaw, Dwayne Johnson as Luke Hobbs, Jordana Brewster as Mia Toretto, Tyrese Gibson as Roman Pearce and Joe Taslim. Scheduled for release on May 24, 2013, the film follows the crew as they set up another high profile heist. Filming took place in Los Angeles, England, Scotland, and the Canary Islands.
The film franchise includes The Fast and the Furious (2001), 2 Fast 2 Furious (2003), The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift (2006) which is also the only film to not feature the original cast, Fast & Furious (2009), and Fast Five (2011).
