City council bears new faces with new values with the New Year. Filling the seats of Denny Bennett and Jon Martin, Forrest Greenwood and Nick Edwards join the council to help hold the integrity and values of the great City of Bellbrook.
“I’m happy to be on City Council,” said Nick Edwards. “I appreciate the support and confidence that the community has placed on me.”
Edwards is the Senior Vice-President of Key Bank, in addition to being a Bellbrook family man. He is not a new face to the City of Bellbrook. Edwards has been involved in many areas of the community team over the years. He recently completed a term serving on the Bellbrook Board of Zoning Appeals and Property Review Commission for the past six years. He also served on the Planning Board for 8 years and as Chairperson for 2 years. Nick also served as Co-Chair of the Charter Review Commission in 2013 and was a Merger Commission Member in 2005.
“I’m glad to be serving the people of Bellbrook,” said Forrest Greenwood. “We have a lot on our plate and I appreciate any input anyone has.”
Even though Greenwood is a new face to the Bellbrook government sector, he is not a new face to the community. He has volunteered for SAY Soccer, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, and St. Vincent DePaul. For the past 6 years, he has sponsored the handicapped for the holidays.
The City of Bellbrook is looking forward to another year in striving to build a community of integrity and a great place to encourage healthy growth.
