New Facebook app promotes sexual affairs with friends

There's a new Facebook application called, Bang With Friends that is promoting casual sex among friends. How the app works is once you install it, you can "nominate" friends that you would have sex with... nobody knows, but you; that is unless of course, they nominate you too! If two people nominate each other, then both are notified. That notification then leads to other things. The website of the application brags that you can, "Anonymously find friends who are down for the night."

This kind of application, is exactly what you would think of, if asked, "What app would the devil create?" It creates all types of sinful scenarios:

1. Lust

2. Fornication (just the idea of thinking about having sex with people is fornication in God's eyes and is sin, deadly sin!)

3. Adultery (How many marriages will this app destroy?)

and the list goes on. Just the simple fact that this site has only been around for about a week or so and is getting so popular, proves that we are basically worse than Sodom and Gomorrah,

"Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire." Jude 1:7 (KJV)

What are the consequences that this app might have in the world today? More broken families, families torn apart by adultery, sex with strangers which will lead to the spread of more STDs (basically legal prostitution since nobody's charging... but the app creator's will be legal pimps, raking in all the cash; basically pimping out society.)

There is one unforeseen consequence too, one that might've escaped most people's mind; think about this, someone knows someone who has a crush on them... it's kind of obvious. So, they download this app and kind of have a good idea that the person will "nominate" them for the sex games... so, they nominate them too, with only one intention... the intention to laugh at them! The intention of tearing them down emotionally. Yeah, the person should not have been doing this any way... but still this app is opening the door for a new kind of cyber-bullying.

Cyber-bullying however, is the least of my concerns. I think the acceptance of something like this, especially the success of it... is proof of a morally corrupt society, and it's only going to get worse. While Facebook did not create this application themselves, I personally am outraged that they're allowing it to be one of their apps! Whether you're a Christian or not, you have to see that this will lead to nothing good. This will not only destroy friendships, it will destroy families. The app now has more than 10,000 monthly users and growing. This is wrong and it's nothing more than legal pimping, these app creators are cashing in on sex... because well, sex really does sell.

Call to action: sound off in our comments section below and let Facebook know that they need to ban this application and any other like it, just because they didn't create it, doesn't mean they are blameless.
