The new exhibit called "Small Works Exhibition" opens at Tohono Chul Park on Friday, October 25, 2013. This is an invitational exhibit featuring small works in a variety of mediums made by over 130 local artists. The pieces on display will change throughout the exhibit's duration. The exhibit is expected to remain on display through December 15, 2013.
"Small Works Exhibition" features art work that is 12 inches or small. The works in the exhibit include sculpture, paintings, prints, and mixed media. The works will be regularly rotated to provide an unique experience for visitors that see it multiple times during the exhibition.
About Tohono Chul Park: Tohono Chul Park features gardens and walking trails as well as art galleries. The grounds are open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily while the museum shop and exhibits are open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. It is closed on New Year's Day, 4th of July, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day. Admission costs $8 for ages 13-61, $6 for ages 62 and up, $5 for active military, $4 for students with ID, $2 for ages 6 to 12, and free for ages 5 and under and museum members.
